I'm Nids — a UK-based crochet artist making handmade plushies, writing PDF patterns, and sharing the whole process along the way. This is the story of how a hobby became a little handmade business.
Why I started crocheting
Crochet found me during a slower season of life, and it stuck. There's something about turning a single ball of yarn into a little character or a finished gift that I've never gotten tired of.
What I love creating
Amigurumi animals are my favourite — especially anything with a bit of personality. I also love writing patterns that are genuinely easy to follow, and taking on made-to-order pieces that mean something to the person receiving them.
Every piece is made by hand, start to finish — no factories, no shortcuts.
Every pattern and plushie is designed by me, tested by me, and written the way I'd want to follow it.
